The background of this poem LET-GO will let u know how real our Lord is. Though I work hard with social studies I could never get more than 85%. That is the most difficult subject for me. As usual I was hopeless & upset after my social studies pre-board exam . At that moment The Lord spoke these encouraging words to me.
LET GO
You’ve been holding on to it darling,
Like a little child would do.
When you can’t take care of yourself,
Let Me take care of you.
What is a boulder to you,
Is just a little speck to Me.
I would easily blow it away,
If you will just let Me.
What you can’t handle,
Is really nothing to Me.
But you need to trust Me, dear
Just a little more each day.
Why do you always carry
That burden after you’ve prayed?
I’ve told you before, I tell you again-
When troubles like rushing water flow,
All you need to do, is trust in Me
And then just…Let go…
I thanked the Lord for these encouraging words & waited . When I got the results I was amazed, because I had got 100%. Even the best students in social didn’t manage to get 100% that time. Even I haven’t managed to get 100% in my other favourite subjects. I really don’t deserve the credit of working hard or doing well because I never could have done it on my own. The credit goes to my lord who lovingly taught me to lean on Him instead of holding every burden. I’m really glad that we have a loving Father who cares & teaches his children the right things at the right time.
HUMBLE YOURSELVES UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD, THAT HE MAY EXALT IN DUE TIME: CASTING ALL YOUR CARES UPON HIM FOR HE CARES FOR YOU.
