“You’re late for breakfast, dear.” my mother said to me.
“I know that very well”, I replied rudely,
Then I realized what had happened.
“Lord, next time I’ll try better, no matter what happens”.
I was about to rush out of the door.
“Please tie my shoes before you go!”
my sister pleaded. I lost my temper.
“I ‘m already late can’t you see?” I shouted.
Then I realized what I had done.
‘Lord, I will do it next time. I promise’
I was in my classroom.
A girl there, needed my help.
“Please help me” her eyes seemed to say.
But I walked off, without delay.
“Lord, I’ll do it later, for sure.”
I tried not to think about it afterwards.
“You didn’t help anyone!” – a voice screamed.
In my heart. I knew I had been wrong.
“Lord, give me the strength.” I prayed this time.
I turned and walked towards the girl with a smile.
Instead of “I’ll do it next time.”, I said, “I’ll do it right now.”
To show God’s love, that’s the way I’ve now found.
TRULY I SAY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU DID NOT DO IT TO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE, YOU DID NOT DO IT TO ME.
