THE PROMISES OF JESUS
I. Promises to him who keeps the commandments of the Lord
i) He shall be called great . Math. 5:19
ii) Shall be as a wise man. Math 7:24-25
iii) Shall be loved of my Father John.14:21
iv) We will make our abode with him John 14:23
v) He shall abide in my love . John 15:10
vi) Shall be my friend John 15:14
vii) Shall have right to the tree of life . Rev. 22:14
II. PROMISES OF SALVATION TO THE BELIEVER
i) He that cometh to Christ shall not be cast out John6:35,37
ii) Shall not perish John 3:15,16
iii) Is passed from death to life John 5:24
iv) Shall be raised up at last day John 6:40
v) Hath everlasting John 6:47
vi) Shall never die John 11:26
vii) Shall be saved Mark 16:16
III PROMISES TO HIM WHO FOLLOWS CHRIST
i) He shall have the light of life John 8:12
ii) Shall have eternal life. John 10:27,28
iii) Shall find his life . Math 16:24,25
iv) Shall have treasure in heaven. Math 19:21
v) Shall have an hundredfold in this time. Mark 10:29- 30
vi) Shall be a fisher of men. Math 4:19
vii) Shall have honor from the Father . John 12:26
IV. PROMISES OF THE BREAD OF LIFE
i) The bread giveth life to the world. John 6:32-33
ii) He that eateth shall never hunger . John 6:35
iii) Shall not die . John 6:50
iv) Shall live forever. John 6:51
v) Shall have eternal life. John 6:54
vi) Shall dwell in Christ. John 6:56
vii) Shall live by Christ. John 6:57
V. PROMISES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
i) Holy spirit shall be given to those that ask . Luke 11:13.
ii) Spirit shall be a well of water within. John 4:14
iii) Shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37-38
iv) Father will give comforter to abide forever. John :14:16- 17
v) Disciples invited to receive the spirit. John 20:22
vi) The promise of the Father to be sent. Luke 24:49
